Mission Statement:

Eryc Taylor’s work deals with a fierce necessity to attain a bold physicality which strips away the movement to its essential state, having a physicality, strength, energy and drama that carries its own.  

Raw and brutally honest, the structures of the dance deal with underlying inner impulses that reveal ones inner psyche.

Taylor has been mesmerized with creating his dances on pointe and is fascinated with the way pointe enhances and magnifies the beauty of his experimental works.

His mission is to find, explore and execute new points of view and combine varied styles of dance on pointe.  He is currently working on a Capoeira inspired duet on pointe.

Always compelled and inspired by the beauty of the human form in motion, Taylor tries to identify new ways of pushing the boundaries of his work.  

In recent years, his visionary dances have been enhanced with the collaboration of longtime friend and composer, Conrad Kaneshiro and costume designer Tonatiuh Otero.
