Eryc
Taylor, Artistic Director
Eryc Taylor is a native of Los Angeles, CA. He received his BFA
in Dance from University of the Arts/Philadelphia and went on to
receive his MFA in Dance from New York University's, Tisch School
of the Arts.
He has studied abroad at London Contemporary School of Dance and in
Paris at the Centre de Danse du Marais and has been awarded several
major scholarships which include a residency at Jacob’s Pillow. He
spent two years with the Cunningham Dance Foundation Repertory Understudy
Group.
Taylor has performed works by Merce Cunningham, Mark Dendy, Group Motion,
Paul Taylor, Milton Meyers, Sean Curran, and Gus Solomons Jr. and has
collaborated with notable artists including Germaul Barnes, Laura Peterson, a featured dancer in various music videos including Les Rhythm Digitalis with Boy George, Patricia Fields Fashion Shows and currently working with Artist Todd Yeager.
His choreography, has been presented worldwide including extensive
presentations of his choreography throughout Germany. Taylor is also
known for producing sight specific dance theater installations which
have graced the shores of Key West, Florida. He has produced
two summer dance festivals in Martha’s Vineyard called, "Dance
Martha Dance!."
His work has also appeared at Lincoln Center Out-of-Doors, Joyce Soho,
The Second Avenue Dance Theater, NYU, Dance Theater Workshop, Dance New Amsterdam’s APAP
festival and Joe's Pub at The Public Theater, NYC. Taylor looks forward
to a successful upcoming season of his dance company, where he continues
to explore new and innovative ways to dance on pointe. |

Michelle Pellizzon: Dancer & Rehersal Director:
Michelle was
born and raised in Southern California by two feisty Capricorns. She
began her training at the Pacific School of Ballet under Maryann Bayless
and continued with Amanda McKerrow, John Gardner, and Charles Maple
at Ballet Pacifica. Michelle graduated with a BFA in Dance from New
York University's Tisch School of the Arts. While at NYU, she was privileged
enough to perform in original works by Stacy Spence, Gus Solomons Jr.,
James Martin, and Diane Coburn-Bruning as well as in the works of many
of her classmates. |

Danielle Schulz: Dancer
Danielle grew up in Southern California
where she spent ten years training at Ballet Pacifica in Irvine.
She spent summers at the School of American Ballet, San Francisco
Ballet, American Ballet Theater, the Juilliard School, Lines Contemporary
Ballet, and Dance New York International in Burgos, Spain. Danielle
went on to receive her B.F.A. in dance from NYU – Tisch School of
the Arts in 2009. During her time there, she performed works by Gus
Solomons Jr. and Williams Forsythe. Since graduating, Danielle has
performed works by Jeremy McQueen and completed a contract with Celebrity
Cruise Lines. She is thrilled to be a member of Eryc Taylor Dance.

Gierre Godley: Dancer
Gierre an Arkansas native started his training with C. Michael Tidwell and Arlene Sugano. He continued his training at Millikin University (B.S.), the Ailey School, and New York University (M.F.A.). He has performed works by Sidra Bell, Adam Barruch, Gus Solomons Jr, Dianne Coburn-Bruning, Sydney Skybetter and Troy Powell. He has been a guest artist with Nathan Trice/Rituals and Kyle Abraham/Abraham.In.Motion. He currently apprentices for Camille A. Brown and dancers as well as run his own repertory duet company, Sobers & Godley. Gierre is very excited for his first season with Eryc Taylor Dance! |

Isabel Fernandez: Dancer
Isabel a happy new arrival to Eryc Taylor Dance, began her training at age 3 traveling between her hometown studio of Warwick, NY and Ballet Academy East in New York City. Isabel graduated with a B.F.A. from Purchase College Conservatory of Dance. Her professional experience includes the Staten Island Ballet, Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company and Lane & Co. She was also recently featured as ‘The Woman in Red’ in the thesis film, A Machine Beloved, by School of Visual Arts student Jonathan Henry.

Erin Ginn: Dancer
Erin began
her training with Karen Gibbons-Brown in Kingsport, TN. She attended
Walnut Hill School in Natick, MA for 3 years, where she was awarded
Honors for Outstanding Achievement in Ballet. After graduating from
WHS she danced professionally with the Cincinnati Ballet as an apprentice
and went on to work with Neglia Ballet, SenseDance, ViewPointe Ballet,
Eryc Taylor Dance, Connecticut Ballet, Columbia City Ballet, Rebecca
Kelly Ballet, Fokine Ballet Company, University of South Carolina Dance
Company, and Bristol Ballet.
Erin graduated with High Distinction
from Indiana University and is an Audition Demonstrator for Eliot Feld’s
Ballet Tech School. She has taught ballet at University of South Carolina & Indiana
University’s Pre-College Ballet Program. She is certified in Pilates
Mat and teaches in New York City.

Dillon Honiker: Dancer
Dillon was born and raised in Oklahoma where he started his formal training in classical ballet. He attended summer intensives with Boston Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet and the American Dance Festival. Dillon graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BFA in dance performance where he trained in ballet, modern, and jazz. Within the next few years he became a member of R.A.C.E Dance, Oklahoma City Ballet, and Naganuma Dance. Dillon recently moved to New York and is extremely excited to be a part of Eryc Taylor Dance Company.

Daniel Tobias: Composer
Daniel Tobias is a native of Berkeley, California, and studied classical composition at The University of California, Berkeley, as well as The Juilliard School of Music. He's an emerging playwright, with several projects en route to production, and is currently scripting a new movie musical for Active Fox Productions to be filmed in 2011. He taught Meisner technique at The Bay Area Acting Studio in San Francisco for six years until his recent relocation to New York City. "Writing music for The Eryc Taylor Dance company is an experience that is intensely satisfying - committing to a landscape that is vast and intimate, emotional and physical, complex and direct, effusive and restrained, driving and fluid, disciplined and free. I absolutely love it."

Carly Mayer: Dancer
Carly Mayer grew up in Seattle, Washington where she trained with Pacific Northwest Ballet for 9 years. She went on to receive a BFA in Dance and Sociology from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. There she had the opportunity to perform Tere O'Conner’s premier work “Variation and Variation,” for the Second Avenue Dance Company. She has also performed with choreographer Nejla Yatkin in the piece "Medusa's Silence." Carly has been apart of companies such as Notes in Motion, Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre, Danielle Russo Dance Company and San Francisco based danced company Lizzie Moves! This is her second year with Eryc Taylor Dance. |

Joanna Elisabeth Priwieziencew: Guest Dancer
Joanna is an alumni of the National Ballet School of Warsaw, Poland. In Europe, she performed at the Grand Opera of Warsaw, the Stuttgart Ballet, the Open Dance Festival in St. Petersburg, the Ballet Carmen Roche in Spain and subsequently traveled to Italy where she was a member of the newly founded Progetto Compagnia. In NYC Joanna has been dancing with Ajkun Ballet Theatre, Exit12DanceCompany and Staten Island Ballet. In August 2011 she joined Eryc Taylor Dance during the SILO Residency.
